The one certainty is that bugs and fungus love peaches. Prevent these pests and fungus from ruining your crop with regular spraying with insecticide and fungicide. Follow the recommended schedule with the proper product.
The most common synthetic insecticide is Malathion. Fruit Tree Spray is another that is a mix of Captan (fungicide) and Malathion.
The two all-natural alternative insecticides are Spinosad and Bacillus Thuringiensis (Bt). Of all the different fungicides out there, Captan, liquid copper and sulfur have been the go to products for years. Application rate and frequency vary so as always read and follow the label directions.
