At least once a month Wells Brothers has folks that come in wanting to kill geckos. I would urge everyone to cultivate your geckos and not kill them. They are natural pest control. Geckos eat bugs. Some cultures consider them good luck. Besides, if everyone starts killing Geckos, I won’t be able to save 15% on car insurance.
If you absolutely have to get rid of them, start by killing all the insects around and in the house (eliminate the food source). If there are no bugs to eat, they will move on. If you must combat Geckos, the weapon of choice is glue boards. Place these sticky traps around the garage and front door. Leave the light on and the Geckos will get stuck. Please note that I do not encourage or promote this type of elimination.
